  3. You have agreed to pay us. We provide enough information to carry out the payment transaction to a bank or payment processor. For the bank or payment processor to handle the payment, they provide the information to other actors in the financial system, including your bank.
  4. We provide the information to others so they can process it for us. We require that they agree to process it based on our instructions and to abide by other confidentiality and security measures.
  5. We become involved in a merger, acquisition, or a sale of some or all of our assets. In that case, we provide notice to every account holder's email address before your personal information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
  6. We compile aggregated, non-personal information. We may share aggregated, non-personal information, such as the number of users who use our website, for example, or how many users clicked on a particular advertisement. That information does not identify you individually.
  7. We believe that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of the information is necessary for another good reason. Those other good reasons are to (1) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, (2) enforce our terms of use, content policy, or our copyright complaints process, including investigation of possible violations, (3) detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues, or (4) protect against imminent harm to the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or the public as required or permitted by law.

 

5. How do we protect your personal information?

We perform this service free of charge, except when doing so would require a disproportionate effort (which is the case if you ask us to do it manually when you could do it yourself using our website).

We regularly review our compliance with this policy. This policy is not a promise to you. But if you have any questions or concerns about this policy or what we are doing with your personal information, please write to us at the address below. If you send us a formal, written complaint at this address, our policy is to contact you about your concerns. We cooperate with government authorities to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal information that cannot be resolved between you and us.

 

9. How can we change our privacy policy?

 

We may change this policy. We expect most changes will be minor. We post any privacy policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we provide a more prominent notice.
